BA AFSAL UL ULAMA
One of the major objectives of the programme - BA Afzal Ul Ulama Degree in Arabic is to instill Arabic proficiency in the students and impart knowledge related to Arabic language and literature. The programme also aims at developing communication skills and translation skills of the students along with rendering deep awareness in Applied grammar, Linguistics, lslamic Studies, and other areas of education. Even though Arabic is not a popularly spoken language in Kerala, students have always shown much interest in learning Arabic language courses. Afzal Ul Ulama programme is one of the most sought after courses by the students, for it maintains high academic quality, scope and employability, under the territory of the University of Calicut . Like any other degree programme, this programme too follows a semester system. Common courses taught for other BA degree programmes under the University of Calicut are applicable to this course also.
