Hostel Literary Forum Inauguration 2024

On 7th August 2024, the Hostel Literary Forum was inaugurated with great enthusiasm. The event began with a recitation by Shahid, setting a calm and reflective tone.

Aslam Omar warmly welcomed everyone and spoke about the importance of literature in shaping our perspectives.

The event was presided over by Dr. Sharafudheen, who emphasized the role of literature in encouraging critical thinking among students.

Though C.K. Usman Farooque was initially expected to inaugurate the event, he graciously allowed Salim Chaliyam, the chief guest and his favorite student, to do the honors. Salim Chaliyam’s involvement added a special touch to the occasion. He not only officially inaugurated the forum but also delivered an inspiring speech. Later, he delighted the audience with several wonderful songs, adding cultural richness to the event.

Abukka and Muneeb Sir also shared their best wishes and words of encouragement, which were greatly appreciated by all.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks from Parthan, the secretary of the Literary Forum, who expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the inauguration.
