The University of Calicut’s Students’ Union Arts Fest for the academic year 2022-23, held at the Government Arts and Science College in Meenchantha, showcased the immense talent and creativity of students. The B-Zone team from RUA College participated enthusiastically and emerged triumphant in various categories, securing multiple top prizes. Their exceptional performances garnered recognition and applause from both the judges and the audience.

Sarga Prathibha Award:

Thaha Thameem (Afzal Ulama 3rd year, Rouzathul Uloom Arabic College) received the prestigious Sarga Prathibha Award, acknowledging his exceptional talent and remarkable skills.

Essay Writing (Urdu): Thaha Thameem clinched the 1st prize in the Essay Writing competition, showcasing his proficiency in the Urdu language and his ability to articulate thoughts effectively.

Essay Writing (Arabic): Muzna Abdul Kareem exhibited her exceptional writing abilities and won the 1st prize in the Essay Writing competition, excelling in the Arabic language.

Versification (Urdu): Thaha Thameem’s poetic talent shone through as he secured the 1st prize in the Versification competition, impressing the judges with his mastery of Urdu poetry.

Story Writing (Arabic): Fathima Shifa CK demonstrated her imaginative storytelling prowess and secured the 1st prize in the Story Writing competition, captivating the audience with her compelling narrative.

Elocution (Arabic): Thaha Thameem’s eloquence and command over the Arabic language earned him the 2nd prize in the Elocution competition, leaving a lasting impact on the audience.

Elocution (Urdu): Yusuf Ali’s impressive delivery and linguistic skills were recognized as he claimed the 2nd prize in the Elocution competition, exhibiting his flair for the Urdu language.
