‘Pathway’ Social Wellness Program

‘Pathway’ Social Wellness Program in Collaboration with Kerala Government’s Social Welfare Department”

In a significant initiative to enhance the well-being of its students, Rouzathul Uloom Arabic College, in collaboration with the Social Welfare Department of the Government of Kerala, inaugurated the “Pathway” Social Wellness Program on November 22, 2023, at the college’s Seminar Hall.

The inaugural session, which commenced at 10 am, was marked by esteemed speakers and presentations outlining the objectives and benefits of the “Pathway” program.

The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Jamseer P.K, the Coordinator of the Guidance and Counseling Wing and also the Coordinator of the “Pathway” program. He emphasized the college’s commitment to the holistic development of its students through such initiatives.

Prof. Shahad Bin Aly, the Principal of Rouzathul Uloom Arabic College, delivered the Presidential Address, highlighting the importance of fostering social wellness among the student community.

The inauguration was carried out by Safa Rafeeq, the Chairperson of the Standing Committee for Education in Ramanattukara Municipality. Her insightful remarks emphasized the role of educational institutions in promoting the overall well-being of students.

Dr. Abdurazack. P P, the Principal of CCMY, Kozhikode, presented the project, providing an in-depth insight into the “Pathway” Social Wellness Program and its anticipated impact on students’ lives.

The felicitation addresses were delivered by Dr. Ayman Shouqui, Head of the Department of Arabic; Usman. C K, Secretary of the Staff Council; Dr. Fahad. P, Coordinator of IQAC; Dr. Aboobacker. K, Coordinator of NAAC, and Naveena. V, Councilor of Jeevani Project.

The vote of thanks was offered by Jumaina. N P, the Coordinator of the Women’s Cell, expressing gratitude to all contributors and emphasizing the collaborative spirit that made the “Pathway” Social Wellness Program a reality.

The event concluded on a positive note, setting the stage for the implementation of the “Pathway” program and its potential to contribute significantly to the overall well-being and career guidance of the students at Rouzathul Uloom Arabic College.
